Siem Reap Riverside Hotel

The hosts are very pleasant mannered and attentive/ welcoming. The lady host always smiling and caring for the guest's pleasant stay. The gentleman host always willing to help, for example, they willingly offered changing the standing fan as the older fan was rattling. They also offered to add AC if needed for a small extra cost $5 daily, but we found fan was adequate. They were always ready to assist, for example, asked a boy to take baggages to the room, offer umbrellas while raining, etc. Small gestures that show the hosts' warmth and care for the guests. They also have a tuk tuk that appears to be full time with them that can be arranged for pickup or drop to bus station or airport or for day trips. We did not use the option, but it may be useful for some guests who don't have grab or uber app.

Our stay was made even better by each member of staff, who were friendly and helpful and even more so the manager who went above and beyond to assist with things outside of her remit. We cannot fault the team. The shower was great, despite being a simple set up, the pool was a really great bonus and the breakfast area on the roof patio was a lovely view to start the day. We felt very looked after and found the hotel was really great value for money.

All the staff, especially on the desk, were very lovely and helpful. Without their help, I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the trip half as much. They were able to make organising trips or travel arrangements very easy. The hotel has a calm, pleasant atmosphere and I'll happily be back in the wet season when it hopefully cools down a little ^^

Deciding to stay in this hotel was the best decision of my whole trip. At first I was skeptical about the reviews, but decided to book anyway due to a very reasonable price, and I ending up staying there for a week. I enjoy everything from the service to the room. The owner and everyone that run this hotel not only take a great care of me but they also recommended me to the best restaurants and places to visit for a very cheap price compared to taking tour. The price is way cheaper than the tour I booked. I was able to visit and learn about more than I have seen in tour. The breakfast is great and the roof top have the best view of siem reap river. I was able to go for a really good jog and swim in there pool in the morning, because the air around the hotel is fresh and clean and the environment are so peaceful, I never got any of my stuff stolen or meet any bad people around the hotel. Normally I couldn’t sleep in any hotel room for long because the place is too noisy or there bed just smell bad and too stiff, but here is the best, there are no noise at night and the bed is soft and smell really good. The room are very clean and smell like flower, I was able to relax on there bed without any problems, it was the most relaxing experience I ever had. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, it is so underrated, I would say this hotel have saved me from spending way too much money then I supposed to and get the most experience in Siem Reap.
